Avoid the A41 at the moment, car and motorbike crash has closed the road near the roundabout for the new-ferry bypass and traffic is backed up to Bromborough!

The road is completely closed, so traffic are having to turn round.

Hope everyone is ok, probably caused by drivers being annoyed by the road works due to finish August 2010.

Which end of the A41 did the accident take place? The Lairds end or Port sunlight end?
Posted By: Hiekel_Essterol Re: nasty crash a41 closed - 5th Nov 2010 1:15pm
Port Sunlight end, North bound of the A41 itself, immediately before the junction into Port Sunlight, by the crossing.

A white motorbike was partially (mostly) under an SUV, with another motorbike, possibly maroon, in the gutter.

Think that's the car's plate.

Runner stopped that shape in 2001.

Think Stu was meaning the car which hit the scooter.

Posted By: Sanchez Re: nasty crash a41 closed - 6th Nov 2010 12:10pm
Lol, spoke to adam last night, he walked away scratched. The most bizzar thing about it for was that he ebded up going into the back of the guys work colleague I was working with called jack. The driver that went into the back of adam forcing him into my mates van was over the limit at the scene but just under when she had a test back at the station. She also had big high heels on and apparently was on the phone too.

So whats the deal with the 2nd bike that was involved? There was definitely something maroon (possibly Triumph) sat in the gutter at the same point as the RTA.

Lol, keep it clean wink

Just glad all involved are OK and alive! The state of the bike makes you think there should have been a far more serious injury omg
