Sooooo gutted I missed that!! I have a mini replica one hanging in my living room window - and it flies in a circle My favourite is still the Chinook though.

Strange you should mention that Wench but seen one 5 pm tonight high over Irby Mill Road,have seen a few chinook's at various times this year overflying the Wirral,they seem to follow the Wrexham line.

saw a chinook about 6 oclock when i was in liscard,an me dad said he'd seen "one of them choppers with the guns that you see in films"earlier on.

1 would flatten norris green and be a few miles from liverpool.

Poor Norris. I used to like him in Corrie

me & oscarpops saw that chinook last night while we were at our boys footy training in birkenhead park rugby club

Apache or a chinook? Which was it? There is a slight difference lol.

the apache was earlier in the day this was later in the evening

I saw this as well, I thought it was a police helicopter, but it was matte black and very square, it had a very dull, low booming noise, and couldn't see any markings. Had no idea it was an AH64!

It went over again today about 8am

Yeah I seen the Chinook at about 8pm the same day as I saw the Apache, I also seen two un-marked helicopters similar to the Police helicopter fly over in formation about 8pm last night, wonder what all the helicopter activity is about?

two apaches have just gone over me at lairds!

The two I saw last night have just flew back over, they're the same as the Police helicopter and same colour dark blue and yellow but they didn't have any Police markings on them.

the two that i saw were an olive green/grey colour.

Saw these myself, quite low, while in Lairds! If they go down in Liverpool, there will be nowt left to rescue!!! The kids would even eat the crew!!!!

I saw maybe a Lynx an Apache has little stubby wings ?

Was definitely an Apache AH-64 which I saw Friday morning.
