Fire at Wirral paint warehouse

A PAINT warehouse in Bromborough was damaged by smoke during a fire last night.

Incident investigators are treating the cause of the blaze, at the Bromborough Paints store in Village Road, as an accident.

Fire crews were called to the store at around 6.30pm. On arrival they found the tray counter area had been damaged by fire, heat and smoke.

The upper floor display area and two other warehouses were also damaged by smoke.
