To add to all the disruption in Birkenhead there has now been a crash in the tunnel and there is a tail back of traffic around the area.

Update: The tunnel is now closed and traffic is being diverted to Wallasey.

must be cleared quick cos there is trafic going in and out of the tunnel now,i can see the tunnel entrance out of my kitchen window

Thats good, police told the bus driver there was an accident and they had to go via Wallasey instead.

They towed the bus out of the tunnel, I saw it when I left work earlier!!
