Hi i`m a new member, but have been a regular to wikiwirral for ages. I work nights and was wondering if anyone else had trouble getting down Hoylake Road last night, about 11 pm. There was a RTA and someone had been run over. Does anyone know what happened?
yeeeerrrr..

apprently a young girl was ran over and subsequently died due to her injuries from wot i can find out and the information im receiving an elderly man was driving the vehicle that hit the girl...

i will keep you all updated once i know more details...

hi janie welcome to wikiwirral only joined myself last year great site. wirral globe just said 44 year old woman is in hospital with multiple injuries following collision with a car police appealing for witnesses

Not bad: I think you mean "avec nous", not "vous". Also, the French still make great use of the subjunctive, so I suggest "pourrions" instead of "pouvons"; more polite.

was told a woman was runover and killed by the church and that the driver didn't stop

Wirral woman in hospital with multiple injuries following collision




A 44-YEAR-OLD woman is in hospital with multiple injuries following a collision with a car last night.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place on Hoylake Road in Birkenhead, near to the pedestrian crossing in Gautby Road, at 10.45pm.


The woman was taken to Arrowe Park hospital, suffering from multiple serious injuries.

The driver of the Renault Megane that was involved in the incident is helping police with their enquiries.

Witnesses are asked to call 0151 777 5771 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

this was outside my house. the women has now sadly passed away she was a freind of my mates mum. and its just been confirmed she has died in the last half hour

Woman dies from her injuries following accident near Birkenhead pedestrian crossing


A 44-YEAR-OLD woman has died from her injuries following a collision with a car on Tuesday night.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place on Hoylake Road in Birkenhead, near to the pedestrian crossing in Gautby Road, at 10.45pm.


The woman was taken to Arrowe Park hospital, but later died.
