Blaze damages Birkenhead scrapyard




A BLAZE broke out in the early hours of this morning at a car scrapyard.

Five fire crews were called to the scene on Neptune Street, Birkenhead at around 3.45am.

It is thought 50 vehicles were severely damaged, and 15 had suffered heat damage.

Hoardings and a workshop were also damaged. No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is not yet known

I bet the fire was started by a local scrapyard

Are there any businesses around there that haven't been torched? Seems there's a new one every week getting set alight.

This'll be that 4x4 salvage place that has all the new cars and charges extorionate prices for tiny things.
