Haddad pleaded guilty to two charges of receiving stolen goods and was given a three-month curfew order. The machines were stolen in July from the office of the company secretary at the International Coaching Academy in Liverpool.

Using a combination of software and remote technology, IT engineers were able to pinpoint the exact location of Haddad and handed a dossier of evidence to Merseyside Police. Haddad had entered his address on the Auto Trader website so engineers were able to give it to police who raided the property and found the laptops.
