Wallasey man charged with possessing cocaine
A WIRRAL man was arrested and charged following a raid at a house on Waterloo Road, New Brighton.
Vernon Leigh, 57, was charged with the possession of cocaine with intent to supply.
Police officers discovered a substantial quantity of powder believed to be cocaine, a hydraulic press and other drugs paraphernalia following the raid on Tuesday.
The cocaine has an estimated street value of £40,000 to £70,000.
