There seems to be some kind of incident outside Slices nightclub in Birkenhead. Plenty of police there with cordons taping off the area.
Anyone know whats going on?

POLICE have launched an investigation after a man was found collapsed in the early hours of this morning in Conway Street, Birkenhead.

It is thought that the man had been subject to an assault earlier in the night after drinking in the Latin quarter.

Officers have arrested three men aged 39,47 and 44 on suspicion of assault and they remain in police custody.

The 23-year-old victim has been released from hospital.

The area has been cordoned off for forensic examinations. Witnesses in the area are being spoken to and surrounding CCTV is being examined.

Think two groups of chavs went to Sherlocks or Rockys and then got drunk and then tried to kick off on each (gangster-like) and someone bottled the other one and then legged it. I think that's what happened.

Didn't know Birkenhead had a Latin Quarter.

Didnt know there was any other Latin Quarter than the one in BirKKKKkkkenhead.
