Woman evicted for anti-social behaviour



A BIRKENHEAD woman has been evicted following repeated anti-social and criminal behaviour at her home.

Action was taken against Jacqueline Rutter of Avon Street due to repeated breaches of her tenancy agreement with landlord Wirral Partnership Homes.

Rutter also had convictions for assault which occurred in Avon Street and for being drunk and disorderly.

Repeated anti-social behaviour is also alleged to have been committed at the property including loud music, damage to the premises and other residents' properties, youths congregating and causing disturbance, alcohol and drug misuse, threatening behaviour, foul and abusive language and general noise.

At Birkenhead County Court on Thursday the 39-year old, who failed to attend court, was issued with an immediate eviction order which took take place on Friday.

Brian Simpson, chief executive of Wirral Partnership Homes, said: "We will do all that we can to protect tenants and wider residents from anti-social behaviour."

Caroline Laing, manager of Wirral anti-social behaviour team, added: "I hope that the robust action taken in this case sends a clear message to the minority who engage in anti-social behaviour."
