Below is a partial quote from the Globe site. I have removed the names in case it violates anything. I wonder if the children he fathered are all with the same woman and who is responsible for paying for their upbringing? I could hazard a guess but I might be well out of order? Somehow I doubt it!

"A BIRKENHEAD man who raped and violently assaulted a woman in her own home has been jailed for seven years.

A judge told **** ****** that the victim says the attack has ruined her life and her young son has needed counselling.

Liverpool Crown Court heard that ****** had climbed up scaffolding to her Wirral flat and knocked at the window shortly after 7am, on April 2.

The woman, who knew him, allowed him in but realising he was drunk she asked him to leave.

But his response was to head butt her and start punching her, and said he wanted to have sex with her.

He again refused to leave and threatened to abuse her with a snooker cue and film the incident to show round the local estate.

The 21-year-old father of three threatened that if he had a machete he would chop her head off and also said she would not live long and she believed his threats.

You've got no problems naming this turd seeing as he's convicted. He's Alan Badley.

I wouldnt worry because he'll get his.....these things always have a habit of biting ppl back and i doubt he will survive in prison either.

Fine, I just didn't want to cause any possible problems for the site.

You can't cause problems for the site mate, his name is already in the public domain, and he has been convicted of the crime he committed.

I see where you are coming from though.

Nice one sanchez, but i wudnt put it THAT nicely mate!!!!

Off topic tho....
Ive been looking thru a lot of stories like this and even more minor incidents, like theft and driving even. Looks to me like we might have a vigilante community here on Wiki!!
Dont panic people, i wont tell the authorities (and make em break into a sweat!!), but to be honest, i think it is the ONLY justice!!! thumbsup
Bring in the peoples court and the peoples justice!!!
Safer streets and better punishment!! lamethrower skull
To me tho, why cant the victim choose the punishment??? Makes sense to me!! somad

Hoseman - perhaps this is just a snapshot of the way the law abiding citizens of this country feel across the nation as a whole.

I've said it before and I will say it again - the police and the court system get lambasted about how many people "get off" lightly and have charges dropped completely. Ultimately, it is not up to them - their hands are tied. The Government lay down the protocol and guidelines that they have to follow.

It's just easier for people to say it's their fault.

I think it would be good for the victims to decide the punishment meted out - I know had I had the chance I would have done, but my punishment for the individual would have been a long, slow and very torturous one!

What we do need, IMO, is a justice system which is exactly that! None of this 2 to a cell with tv, dvd's, xplaycubeboxes, 3 square meals, exercise in gyms etc - give them 3 meals a day but basic ones, 5-10 to a cell, one bucket between them, 1 hour a day out of the cells (20mins per meal), no tv, no nothing!!

Each sentence to be exact to the second i.e. a 10 year term is 10 years in prison, no time off for "good" behaviour, no taking remand into it - you were on remand because you obviously did enough to warrant it!

For the clear cut cases, bring back capital punishment!

I'm sorry if this offends anyone who may have been inside, or has family that have but I have been on the receiving end of a serious crime and I live that every day!! When does my "time" end??

If you can't face the time, don't do the crime!

Rant over.

No offence like but have you ever been inside? Lots of people say this but personally I can think of nothing less like a holiday than being told when I can get up, go to bed, eat crap food that others might have spat in or worse, subjected to my arse being searched, and potentially raped by other prisoners.

I'm not saying this guy deserves any less but too many make the same statements all the time with no knowledge of the truth. For the record, no I have never been inside and never wish to so I never make comments like the above but I do read a lot.
Posted By: hoseman Re: Rape case - 4th Dec 2008 10:12am
I have never been inside and dont wish to, but as pagan said, the punishment should fit the crime, this system does nothing to detere the criminals.
"OFF WITH THEIR BOLLOCKS MAM?" raftl

I don't necessarily disagree with that but people make statements about prison being holiday camps and they have never been in one. In my humble they have no right to comment.

Here's an inequality for you.

When you stay in hospital, if you want to watch TV you have to pay some stupid fee to buy a card so the tv over your bed will work.

When you 'stay' in prison its free.

Just thought I'd throw that into the lion's den.

ye and its us f***in tax payers who pay for it
Posted By: MattLFC Re: Rape case - 4th Dec 2008 4:47pm
Well people know what I think should be done with the ... who commit crime, especially repeat offenders, but it will never be allowed under EU law, so I shall keep stum.
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Rape case - 4th Dec 2008 5:58pm
i did do a bit of time when i was younger.for disqualifed driveing. (somethink am not proud of) it is one big holiday being locked up for most of them.there is all so alot that like being told when they can get up go to bed eat crap food that others might have spat in. for some of them its all they no being locked up or they have no one out here. there was one old guy must of been about 70. i got told that for about 20 years he would get locked up the week before xmas. so he was not on his own. very sad if ye ask me. and also there is the ... who just learn even more crime for when they get out. but none of that was for me and i wanted out of that life. i hated being told when I can get up go to bed eat crap food that others might have spat in and most of all missing thous close to me.

bring back capital punishment thats what i say.or life should meen life the punishment should fit the crime.

hang the ...

Moresman, i dont mean it is a holiday camp, i know people who have done some serious time, and will prob do some more by the way they behave!
They do the crime and do the time, as they tell me!! Bit daft, but they are bigger than me....!!
Time should mean FULL time and hard labour!
What about the new law about criminals who do community service having to wear hi-viz vests with Community Payback on them!!!
The DO-GOODERS are trying to say it is against the individuals human rights and might target them for attacks!!! SO FOOKING WHAT!!!! You do time--then you have no rights, you give them up at the booking in desk!!!!
I hate the lame excuses that are brought forward in defence of CRIMINALS!!!! They are criminals after all!
Dont get me wrong, im not arsed about the speeding offender or weekend brawler, i mean the habitual criminal who makes it his way of life, and WE pay for his upkeep!!!
Druggies, muggers, rapists, murderers and anyone i dont like the look of!!! (LOL) yes
