Spoke to me Cousin last night around about 3am and he said that he had seen a dead body so i was like wtf?
He sed ther was a crash on the M53. At the time ther was no police wen he passed apart from a
taxi (which probably called the police) as when he returned there were police present.

The car that crashed was said to be a fiat bravo and was near junction 10 (he thinks) but he sed it was
the cheshire oaks turn off.

Maybe a death by speeding.

If anyone else finds any info on it please post up.

oh dear,You cant pass judgement Pomp, you dont know if they were speeding or not, also you dont have to be breaking the limit to be driving dangerously. it could have been a number of things:

  • Missed the slipway and tried to exit the motorway to late
  • blowout
  • fallin asleep at the wheel
  • some sort of medical condition, ie heart attack
  • drink driving
  • drugged and driving
  • another car may have clipped it and left the scene not knowing what had happened

We cant really comment until we know the facts.Even if it was the drivers fault, My compassions go out to his\her family and freinds.

I see where your coming from Davey, it isnt quite a judgement, but an assumption none the less.

I hear what your saying kate, but in the same breath
we all watch the TV and they report similar and say
police are informing next of kin or speaking to family.

Its only the names that are held back and not the
report of the accident.

Sad but true.

IMO : Reporting of an incident is fine.
Its not right to name anyone in a report until family have
been notified.
