are you mad!? that will invalidate your warranty and insurance! its a brand new car, leave it standard.

Fitting an atmospheric Dump Valve may not invalidate your warranty as your car probably has a standard re-circulating type fitted anyways, all you are doing is changing the design to an atmospheric type, thats all..... think

its will not effect your insurance either.

phone demon tweeks and they will tell you for sure YES or NO

Well either way, i wouldnt bother.

im sure the dump valves for the 306 1.9 TD's are about £250-£300 or something stupid like that, not worth it at all in my opinion!

not sure how much they'd be for your car though, if anywere does them yet that is.

i was priviledged enough to drive my friends Black GTS 300 skyline today and i must say the DV sounded mad. Under light throttle it made an odd twittering noise when letting off, and under heavier load it was the fully monty PTSSSHHH.

in conclusion DO IT! You would probably be best off contacting a VW/Audi diesel specialist who could further advise you better (such as AMD technik etc)

Phil

PS: also book it in for a remap as that can gain you up to 50bhp iirc and makes for a mad car!

Also try Central VW In Ellsmere Port these guys specialise in Diesel VW, Simon the guy that owns in runs an 11 second MK2 diesel with 260 bhp,and knows his stuff with the 1.9 VW diesels.

Alternativly Forge Motorsport do alot of direct replacment turbo gear for vw, as its the sam 1.9 that Skoda uses.

Any mod you do on your car whether it be adding neons, DV's etc, whether it's preformance related or cosmetic you technically should inform your insurance. In the event of a claim they'll wriggle out of paying out. I nearly had this on my Vectra when the only thing I've done was to change the side repeaters from amber to clear (which is still a standard Vecta part).
At the end of the day, it's upto you whether you declare any mods you've done.
Personally if it were me and you can find one cheap enough then I would do it!
