Spotted a couple of these cars on N Reg'ish for just over £100 at auctions.

There doesn't seem to be any suspicious noises from them, is there anything i should be wary about or look into before putting my hands in my pocket?

You'll get vectras too wink

£100 sounds about right in an auction for that sort of car. Not really much you can check in an auction tho. Cars with TAX or MOT will obviously fetch a bit more, but the general condition of the car is normally a good indication of how well its been looked after.

Face it though, buy a £100 bin, you can always split it and get your money back selling the bits on e-bay laugh

That is what i intend to do eventually, just need a car to travel quite a bit of distance rather than killing my civic's low mileage.

Wouldn't mind a metro or something similar if they are likely to be less maintenance?

Wouldnt fancy a Metro for "quite a bit of distance" frown

Try Ebay, I know someone who just got an "L" reg Mazda 626 off there for 0.99p eek
