Clutch, Distributor + Suspension noises - 13th Dec 2004 3:27am
Anyone confirm these:
Clutch-
When the clutch pedal is depressed, the clutch is heard 'hissing' or 'rubbing', does this mean it's on it's way out, it's not slipping at all though. I'm putting a new flywheel in so this is coming out anyways.
Distibutor-
Anyone know how to 'posisiton' these properly? I put on a brand new distributor last week, and in my haste to get back in out of the arctic weather (and darkness) I put it on as best as I could, but the idle is lumpy, and it's gyrating from 1k to 2k (and cutting out) when the engine is started. It's sounding like a knackered V6, this is definately down to this dizzy, as the displug one was fine.
Ta la's!
