i got a basic corsa B
am unsure on wat size alloys to put on it and how much to lower it.
any advice?
You're safe with 15s or 16s if you're gonna lower it. 17s cause problems when lowering, unless you're not shy to taking the angle grinder to your arches. If you're planning on slamming it you need to make sure the offset is perfect for the rear arches - so the tyres sit just inside them. One of the VXR boys will be able to give you exact figures when they see this.
right, you need the alloys to be between et45 and et49, et49 being perfect,if the et is between them then you can lower 60mm on 15 and 16s, with 17s you can go 40mm with out any arch work
thanks lawton, just want i needed to no, cheers bud
also, you need to think ahead, 15s are the best for handling, where as 17s are for looks if you have a big bodykit etc, but if you have a 1.2 etc then the 17s will slow you down as they slow the 1.4 and 1.6s down, 16s are a good all rounder, good at handling and look good,
15s go as low as u want
17s 60mm all round if ur wild, 40mm front 60mm mm back if you want a good balance like my old one
im on standard wheels at the moment 70mm front an 60mm bk
mmmm ok, thanks again lawton and john, ill just have to have a good think about it, i prob go for 16"
!!!Be different and get wide wheels with 100mm!!!
9 inches and 195s??? Proper ssstttrreeeettccchhheedd then???
7x16s would be top
as i say euro style
will try an get a pic of a golf with these
hope these pics work
10x15's with 185's on
oh and these are 285 on 13x18

wheels are allowed to pertrude arches otherwise it is 100% illegal
