Took my old exhaust of the green car recently as ive decided it'd look good as a single exit system on my Si,and my little bro can put the other exit on his 1.4 mk6 scort

Questions i have are

Can a 2" bore pipe into the silencer be welded up to/clamped to,lengthened and bended to meet the back of the mid section on my brothers car (he will only be using 1 backbox including the 6x4 oval-2 1/2" short pipe-back box-2" bore mid secion connecting pipe)

I however am using the 2" mid section, from the cat, with no silencer,to where it connected to the Y pipe and i want to mate it up to the 2" pipe that enters the backbox, which then exits the backbox as a 2 1/2" pipe which then welds to the 6x4 oval. This will need the gap filling with 2" bore pipe bended and welded/clamped to fit

And if i wanted to quieten down my system, would welding a 3" bore 10 inch long pipe in the middle of the mid secion (so it gets wider for 10 inches then narrower again) will that silence it a bit?

and who could do these jobs and how much would they cost?

Ideally need a reply from Cybox (sprayforce) staff here

Yes it can, it would help to know what car your brother has as every car is different.

Nope mate, you need to weld a "Bullet Silencer" in there.

Costs vary on every vehicle as every vehicle is different fitment. As a guide, £30 per hour labour plus brackets, clamps, reducers, mountings and consumables...

Brothers got a 96 escort 1.4 and he'll be keeping the standard mid section se he needs the backbox wit 2" entry pipe adapting to the back of his mid section

Ive got a 96 escort 1.8 and im using a 2" system with a gap in it.so ill need about at the most a foot of 2" pipe bent and welded in between the gap,id really like to silence mine a tad,but i'll look into that after its initially fitted, with keeping the cat its gonna be quieter than my old one used to be
