Hi there, need to get a stainless steel custom exhaust made for my Esprit. Got a contact details from a guy in a green Corsa for a company in Wallasey just off the Dock Road Gobox?? or something like that.
Anyway, my question is what should I go for?
Options I have is as follows:-
1. Single right hand exit straight through 2.5-3" inlet and 2.5-3" outlet with 3-4" tips.
2. Twin exit with duplex back box (baffled type) with 2.25" exits and 3-4" tips. This means less pipe work but also less power.
3. Twin Straight through backbox but exit pipe has to come back on itself. More power 2.25" exits with 3-4" tips.

The problem with my car is lack of space. Also the exhaust note is crap because it's only a short system. Any advise on how to make it more racey?

Note, backbox has to run along the back bumper then the tailpipes are bent in a 90 degree shape to exit the back bumper (Elise, MGF type) so can't put one of those nice sounding integral backbox with tailpipe.

Yes I went there again today and saw the name look like a t**t!
They were shut when they said they'd be open today.
Will go down the twin straight through. I'll have to take my valance off first before I book it in. Try and get it done before the next meet, what are my chances?

Still can't make my mind on tip style? Going for 3.5-4" but do I go for rolled in or straigth cut? Also there was a cool looking 3.5" tip which tapered on the inside.
Got a good price from Cybox, lets just wait until we see the final results.
Hopefully be ready in time for the next meet wink

I finally narrowed down my tip options. There were two. Both 4" but different in design. I decided to go for the left one because of two reasons. The first it weighed half as much as the right one (right one was a dead weight). The second because it was shallower. I need a very shallow one because my tailpipe bend 90 degrees as soon as it leaves the backbox.
What do you think, did I choose the right one?

Yeah, the one on the left mate. The right one looks a bit "Jap Style" and wouldnt suit the sleek look of your car.

Looking good, when you getting it fitted ??

Booked in on Monday. Just need to take off my old valance before then. No garage and it's freezing outside!

All in all a pretty crap day for me. Exhaust didn't turn out as expected (understatement). To top it off, my CAT snapped £450! They offered to put my old system back if I wasn't happy which I think was very good of them to offer. Won't say what went wrong until I've sorted things out first.

Another s h i t day for me. Sorry for the strong words but it's cost me £60 to put my old system back and I now have a broken Cat which will cost me £450! Cybox agreed to put my system back and weld up the CAT that broke for £40. As a good will gesture I said I would give them an extra £20 for their troubles. Just been to collect and they have even welded the CAt up. Exhaust is blowing like mad, ****** off.
I had given them £70 yesterday and the guy was reluctant to give me back my tenner he owed me.
I have plenty of pics, so deciding whether to write to Peco who own this company. Don't know if it's worth the hassle.

Gutted for you Dave frown

If they are responsible for the OEM stuff breaking should they not cover the cost to put it all right?
