I'm sure the speedo would be wrong even with 17's mate. Best thing to do is get a gps and work out what speed is what (if that makes sense). I've got 18's on my civic and the speedo can be close to 10mph out at times! Thinking of scanning the film in my speedo clocks and re-arranging the speeds so it over-reads slightly again, then just print them out onto laminate and put them back in the car. Probably change the colour at the same time.
Don't even bother to ask me how far the speedo's out on the samurai, I ain't got a clue but 31" tyres means a helluvalot lol!
17s are more than big enough. If you want your car to be a show car then u can fit 20s on.Nothings to stop you getting your chassis remoulded around a set of 22's with custom suspension etc but your not made of money. So in answer to ur question. 26" cos thats the biggest u can buy these days
TBH im surprised ur not scrubbin hell outta the 17s. 18s u cant get away with without scrubbing and im not sure how much work would be needed to correct the scrubbage. Maybe gettin 30 something offset and set of arch extensions could see a set of 18s on.
18s are u sure? 18s will need some work. Unless u wanna scrub on half lock and de-rim the tyre on full lock. Go for 17s. 16s look nice enough and 17s look semi-rediculous on corsas IMO.Its like 19s on escorts. Just looks pants. Go for a good set of 16/17 inches and put the sills on the floor.18s and lowering is gonna bankrupt ye
