i say he shouldnt go any bigger than a 4" exhaust meself othetwise itll look 2 big for the car. the only cars i think that suit big exhausts are jap cars or big power cars.

Exhaust first, Possibly one of these ?? Both of these are approx 4" tail pipes.

Lowered and tints first Saz wink Then the exhaust.

Deep dish chrome rims would look good on that imo

id put bigger alloys on it (not white ones though), a 3.5in exhaust, tints, lowered and de-badged/de-locked
Posted By: saz2004 Re: chris's car - 9th Jun 2004 6:25pm
yea the wheels on it at the mo r 16" he wants to get 17" or 18"

we saw some wheels like that in halfords james and he liked em!

Hmm, Chrome Alloys? - tacky. Neons? - The same.
Spinning dubs? Again, they're tacky and heavy, and very very expensive for "real" ones.

neon washer jets, motorsport sunstrip, viper stripes and some Greddy and HKS door stickers wink

OR....

lower it(not just springs but uprate dampers as well) manifold+exhaust, tints, polish'd/painted engine parts, de-badge, possible take front grille out and use hole for a forced induction kit? keep it subtle! <img border="0" alt="cool" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions049.gif" />

thats a good idea, the grille looks too big and plasticcy with that massive badge(even more than my bumpers  )taking it off would change the look of the whole car too
Posted By: exploding_penguin Re: chris's car - 10th Jun 2004 9:45am
lower it about 100mm an make it sit on the floor on 17 inch cromies mmmm nice
Posted By: pugginell Re: chris's car - 10th Jun 2004 11:33am
that is such an awkward car for matching alloys to! do u go rally sl4g way and keep white motorsport rims (eg. compomotive's)? or do u go cruise type rims (chromies etc)? IMO i would go the motorsport route. 18" white compomotive MO's would look the dogs danglies!

I would say get it lowered and tints put in first.

17" Chrome wheels would look great on it, forget the exaust till he gets these done. Dont get white (but if he was to get white then i reckon he should get white interior) I think red or purple neons and a new front bumper 2 start with.

Defo start with the exterior though before you start the interior.

does everyone think he should get it lowered and tints first?? coz he is thinkin of gettin the exhaust first!
Posted By: jimbo4x4 Re: chris's car - 10th Jun 2004 7:04pm
At the end of the day it's his car and his money so he should do what he wants to do wink
Posted By: saz2004 Re: chris's car - 10th Jun 2004 8:34pm
i know its his car but its nice to get opinions!
Posted By: Anonymous Re: chris's car - 12th Jun 2004 11:44pm
he shud have is silver and black ! silver tints and alloys and so on ! maybe even a cool silver vynil !
Posted By: saz2004 Re: chris's car - 13th Jun 2004 11:28am
i was talkin to nitro last night and he suggested either the colours gold and black - gold alloys, gold tints on back and back sides, slightly smoked gold tins on front sides and amber neons. and he also suggested the colours silver and black - chrome alloys, silver tints, and white neons!
i told chris this and i think he has decided on chrome alloys but wiv black tints and white neons! along wiv an exhaust and bein lowered!

thanx for all you ideas!

Those are air feeders you're talking about. Forced induction is a turbo as far as I know wink

with the cold feed being at the front of the car, you benefit from the ram effect of the air being forced into the tube.
