Hi there. my mate has just got tints done and they look the part, so i was thinkin if havin mine done. the only problem is that its MOT time soon and if i go too dark will my car fail? any help would be great!

yeah, get tints GAz. you know mine look weel sweet. you need to do something to your car, so do them!

I`m also thinking of window tints, you been anywhere to check out prices, or any reccomendations???

my good man ben has just got tints done at vinyl graphix. £150 for dark smoke all round except on the front an they were done in half a day.Any prices elsewhere tho?

quick quick, i need some help! im booked in to get tints done tomoro mornin, ive asked for dark smoke on back sides and back with light smoke on the front sides. my cars a silvery blue 106 and the windows are tinted VERY slightly anyway but i was just wondering about goin for dark smoke all round except for the front, or will that be too dark? what about all the legal stuff, whats legal an whats not?

anything after the the b pillar can be as dark as you like, legelly the front are only allowed to be 80VLT, so only block out 20% light, i had myn re-tinted an it's blocking 80% light, which technically is illegal, but if ya get pulled you just say you had them done last year, an save yourself a hefty fine, they'l just ask for them to be removed!!personally dont go any darker than 20% or you'l see jack ****!!

how much light do 'light smoke' ones let in if i add them to the front sides?

not sure, excel who did myn, there light smoke was 20%, some companies may have lighter tints than that. if ya do get limo on the back, when reversing stick ya head out the window or something i didnt and crunched my bumper, gutted!!

just got my tints done and decided to stick with light smoke on the front sides, glad i did really cuz they look just right!

ill try and get some up to show, th light smoke only look slighly darker than the dark smoke aswel so im chuffed!
