Okee doke peeps, here it is. The VERY long story and most irritating day of my life.

Yesderday i left scotland at 11:00AM and after an hour of drivin a massive noise became apparent. Got off at next junction and looked around the engine bay/exhaust. Guess what i found? My downpipe had sheared from its welds.

After a phonecall to me brother for advise and a chat with the RAC i went to the nearest garage. 90 quid they said to REPLACE the downpipe(it cant be welded)Told them to forget it and id drive down and get it done here. So i arrived down here safe and sound, but deaf.

Went to the rock and while there i noticed my exhaust was ON THE DECK. Had to get towed away as driving it wudda created lots of sparks and maybe even took the zorst away.Left Sandys house this mornin via another low-loader to go to Sprayforce. They couldnt do it til TUE. So i spoke to ATS in moreton and they directed me to pensby where the car now lies in wait for a new down pipe/possible refit of de-cat. Ill have it back by 5 o clock, lovely and quiet(in relation to yesterday) for the MNR meet.Sorry for hurtin ur ears DAZZA,NET,ADE,TONY and SALLY

Woops, completely forgot to mention the ol'stedmeister. With him bein on the phone all the while i forgot he was there lol. How "long" was it Dazza lol. U mean loud??? i really kicked it just to show u that there was summut horribly wrong lol. Its fixed now tho, shiny new pipe and the sound is smoother thatn it was with the old downpipe. Still a very slight rasp tho at 4000RPM.Only cost 54 greenbacks too. Well chuffed

Scoop, One of the sponsers carry the front pipe in stock and would have fitted it whilst you waited, not to worry as long as you have it fixed now.

Also £90 is a total rip off, i would even say half of that was still expensive

Paid 54 for it mate at ATS. Which sponsor was this? i shoulda went to Autosafe but i thought i'd give sprayforce a try. When they said "not today" i just tried the nearest place. Would autosafe be able to work on such a vehicle mate? i got knocked back by ATS in moreton and its hard to find places that can work on it. When ATS said pensby will deffo do it i just went for that.Sorry

Autosafe can work on your type of vehicle, its a ford escort if i am not mistaken

From what i know i think Scoop actually meant can auto safe work on cars that are lowered with body kits .... you know with the problems of gettin it on ramps an stuff to work underneath the car. He usually gets that trouble from various garages heheh.
