SEVERE WEATHER WARNING : Drive Carefully

WEATHER WARNING Tuesday 28 February

Frequent heavy snow showers and blizzards will continue over northern Scotland. Heavy snow showers are also expected in Northern Ireland and near the east coast of England from Yorkshire to Lincolnshire. Wales and East Anglia will also see snow settling. Snow and strong winds will lead to dangerous driving conditions. Valid until 1800.

Tuesday 28 February EARLY WARNING The Met. Office is forecasting more snow showers for the rest of the week, mainly for areas exposed to the northerly flow. Falls of between 5 cm and 10 cm are expected in places, with 20 cm or more over upland Scotland.

Left the house at 6.30 this morning for work, woulda been nice to know the roads hadn't been gritted. Arrived at 6.55 with no probs but as i went to turn into the car park the civic decided it wasn't going to obey the front wheels and went straight on into a pole just off the kerb. Damn black ice smack

frown

Drive VERY carefully people.

Pics later.

Left for work at 7am, got into work 10am, a proper nightmare.
People who cannot drive in snowy conditions should be crushed by a tank.

Love the snow but you still get the idiot who is driving up your arse when its hard to brake.

Wheel span the car up to 80mph was a little different changing gear and going no were.

Was out at 7am this morning and ended up in a car park that was covered in snow and spent a bit sliding all over the place, so much fun.

Freaky coming home yesterday, it was pelting it down on the M53 and everything was white, all you could see was snow flakes and it felt like the car wasn't moving.

Well Peeps, the snows here once again happy

You know the script by now :

Clear your windows.
Drive with your lights on.
Reduce your speed.
Allow more braking distances.
Accelerate hard out of corners and get that baby doing the sideways thing.... omg
