Get the arches rolled that should solve the problem. try Kerr Chan our sponser.

if your wanting to sell it, then it will be easier to sell with the standard spec, if your wanting to sell it the way it is, then advertise it in mag's, paper, autotrader, clio owner club forums, cruising forums, the more you do then the more chance you have of selling it.

if you dont want to sell it then how about getting bigger wheels? that should lift it off the ground a little. lowering your car will always bring problems with speedbumps, mines lowered an i have to crawl over bumps at 5mph, i dont mind but its the price you have to pay for lowerin you car

hope this helps

just change the springs mate, to bring the car up to a decent ride height, me mate got a saxo vts n its so low its a joke, he wants to put a rage body kit but needs the car to be brought up a bit for it to fit properly, so its not an impossible job.

As for not having people in the back, thats one of the things that go hand in hand when you have ya car lowered, besides stops random people scroungin lifts off ya!

depends on how far the car is lowered now, got any pics of the car? kerr chan should be able to sort your arches for you, have a look in our sponsor bit, all his details are in there if you need em

the car aint been lowered its just the kit ive got on it made it really low

it depends on the quality of your s[rings as well!! mines lowered so the arches at the back touch the top of my 17's and i can actually get 3 in the back ive found!! sayin that my saxo i cudnt have any so depends on the springs as i said!! try chgin the springs to eibach as they gaurentee you can carry the same weight as the normal ones!!

Two options then, bigger wheels or dont go over speed bumps, lol

go for some 17's with like a 35mm drop then maybe? dont let people in the back either, they slow u dont anyway <img border="0" alt="[laff my ass off]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions042.gif" />

is it springs and dampers all round or does the clio have a torsion bar at the back?
Posted By: lazy_ben Re: Help - 24th Jun 2004 3:56pm
i think theyve got torsion bars, so it should be fairly cheap to sort it out

is it possible to stiffen a torsion bar? im under the impression that you can lower them but they will be just as soft as standard?
