Apparently rover motor company is in liquidation.

One of my customers has a rover and took it to the rover main dealership for a repair to be carried out under warranty only to be told they cannot take on any further warranty work as the company in going bust ??

Boy i would be ****** if i owned a rover with a rover warranty and they wouldnt take on any warranty repairs.

Whats your opinions on this ??

Can't say i like any new rover but it is the history, they have made some fantastic cars in the past and it is really bad they are going under

shall we all chip in say 50p and buy the company, we could change the name from rover to CW and rule the world!! muhahahaha

im in gazzd but change the name to tony's bus stop destroyers!

nothin has happend yet. trust me. were still sellin them. parts still available and we r backin r warranties. fingers crossd she will just downsize and pull through.

my dad drives a rover and i dont think he has heard anything bout this. he should b gettin a chrysler 300c soon so shouldnt trouble him, i dont think!

Rover mustve been a money pit, no-ones shown any interest since it was sold by zee germans. Its a shame because i really like the ZT. Ah well.

Been trying to get prices etc and me insurance wouldnt be too bad on one either

evo. r u welsh. thats a gud english company ur dissin ther. 1 tats survived a raping from bmw in which all things remotely profitable, (mainly the rover designed MINI!!!!!!) and was just abbandoned once they got what they wanted. the company aint gone yet tho and my moneys on a new govt backed smaller deal with SAIC saving them.

fingers crossed that r last mass production car make that is renound world over survive to fight annother day!!!!!! Remember this badge counts for something!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will be gutted to see it go if they do. Surely they will be dragged outta of it by a rich person willing to invest. Can they actually turn away a car still under warrenty even if they are in liquadation.

i heard they went bust because they spent to much money fixing the head-gaskets from every single rover on the road

really though, is a shame to see another british company going down the toilet
