thanks for the comments... she's my lil pride and joy.... 21 years old this year... and she'll do 165mph... not too shabby me thinks. smile

need to swap the engine for my spare.... I've absolutely destroyed 2nd and 3rd gear.... (life's better on the back wheel grin )

Looks very smart.

Not sure about the paint job though, I prefer it in black.

Any more pics? List of mods done and to go....?

mods I can think of -

headlight, side and bottom fairings removed
frame, swingarm and wheels powdercoated black
drilled top yoke for risers
fatbars
Radiator hose modded for CB600 radiator
2004 R1 Brake calipers
2004 R1 Master cylinder
XJR1300 Clutch master cylinder
1991 Exup swingarm and back wheel
45mm Jackup kit
Bigger bore exhaust, shortened box (quite loud, not rawkus though, but can spit 18" long flames on command >:)
Braided brake and clutch lines (all custom made)
Headlight brackets made to fit (different than in the pics, headlights are mounted to the forks now)
replacement clocks
Mini indicators
2 teeth off the front sprocket (more torque for easier wheelies)

future mods-
Engine needs replacing, I've worn out 2nd and 3rd gear, so engine sitting in hall needs to go in, its almost finished. Needs painting and polishing finishing, mods are Yoshimura racing cams, balanced crank, knife edging, ported, polished, new carbs have stage 1 dynojet kit, got K&N high flow air & oil filters for it... will expect around 150-160 BHP at the wheel.

and I'm getting a newly rebuilt front end for her in a couple months too.... that'll get painted and polished up as soon as it gets here as my fork springs aren't quite what I would like them to be.

and thats all I can think of right now..... lol

Just out of curiosity, would PVM EVO Brake discs fit on it?? They look pretty sexy yes
Posted By: Token Re: Token's Modded bicycle. :) - 19th Apr 2009 7:24pm
depends what they came off.... good chance I could.... a load of manufacturers have (and still do) use the same discs... makes it easier for the companies who make the discs (brembo etc..) so I've got discs from a 2002 Aprilia RS 125, which just happen to be the same that are used on the ducati 999... so it depends... do you have some discs goin spare?

No, I was just looking at your bike and thought that the EVO's would look pretty smart on them laugh

thats a nice bike that, and itll be bloody quick with that engine in. I think my uncle had one of these in the 90's and he was a bit of a nutter. Regularly seen 160+ on the clock and he said it sat on the back wheel no problem for a fair distance. It was black too and he wore black leathers / helmet.

If i sell the escort im tempted to spend half the cash on the nissan and half on an old CBr 600 to do wheelies on and genral lunacy.
