Just need that bigger engine smile
Posted By: Cali_16v Re: Xodos 206 - 10th May 2008 11:25am
with the price of petrol i think a 1.1 is just fine for now
Posted By: Civic_Coupe_Sean Re: Xodos 206 - 10th May 2008 11:31am
Good point mate, Any plans for tints Tom ?
Posted By: Cali_16v Re: Xodos 206 - 10th May 2008 11:39am
I'm guessing you bought your civic from him as he used it as a run around while the 206 was in the bodyshop ???
Posted By: tomgtr Re: Xodos 206 - 10th May 2008 1:52pm
Im not sure yet about tints yet sean, I wanted them for ages but now I think it would be a shame to spend alot on the interior and obscure it with tints think I do think though It would help darken things up a bit

I do want darker back lights and maybe front, If you use tint spray does it affect the reflectors any sean, like for mot time?

Good guess Cali when I crashed the pug I got the civic to see me through, I was in a real dilemma over which one to keep I had big plans for that civic like glow in the dark white paint and a vertex kit.

It turned out though the pug wasnt that badly hurt, I got a new coilover set and fitted it myself hammer to keep the price down and learn stuff. Needed a new door too so I took it to paintworX. They Had a black flake painted corsa in, and it was kinda like "how much to do that?" yes

think it was in there for about 8 weeks!

8 weeks, bloody hell.

Civics are nice cars when done properly not barry style.

Made a good choice with the 206 though.

Bet your ears are ringing mate, I heard it the other day boomin
Posted By: Civic_Coupe_Sean Re: Xodos 206 - 10th May 2008 6:46pm
Nah not that bad, Windows half down, Tunes playing then you can't even hear the back box (much) lol

Your pug would look nice with smoked rear lights smile

As for reflectors, I ain't sure mate, I used a full tin and they are black lol, Im going to get another set off lights tho just incase, For MOT's etc etc, Always good to have a spear smile
Posted By: MrPhil Re: Xodos 206 - 10th May 2008 6:51pm
If you tint your rear lights it maybe useful to get some stick on reflectors on the bumper come MOT time or either mask part of the rear light up when you spray it.

Not a bod looking motor needs to be lower or on 19's though the wheels look small.

Check out mattys 206 on here his back lights are nice.

I bought the 206 1.1 look for my misses (still hasnt passed her test yet)

not bad motors.

Posted By: Davey_Martin Re: Xodos 206 - 28th Sep 2008 9:00pm
lookin great mate, u plan on putting a bigger engine in it eventually?
Posted By: CustomIce Re: Xodos 206 - 29th Sep 2008 12:49pm
If you're after more ICE, let me know smile
Posted By: tomgtr Re: Xodos 206 - 29th Sep 2008 5:28pm
Was going to put a bigger motor in but its not really cost effective with the car market the way it is. Plus I reckon it would be quite easy to sell with the low insurance when the time comes.

Cheers for that custiomice, ill let the lads in college know too they have money to burn lol

Which engine?
Posted By: tomgtr Re: Xodos 206 - 30th Sep 2008 8:11pm
Was planning on a GTI 180 conversion for 3K at pug performance. The GTI-6 conversion is wicked but is more expensive to get done proffesionaly (like 4.5-6K). The kit and wheels make it more slower lol so it would never be as quick as something stripped out. Maybe just interior and ice now until its time to change

Oh ill tell em to email you custom ice
