Well, the BMW sold pretty quickly, so ive been on the lookout for its replacement.

Not having owned a ragtop before, Ive decided to try one out for a bit, and after viewing a few I found this for sale in Birmingham.

Its a 1999, 1.8, Mk2 MX-5 (140bhp). Heard a lot about them, but was always a bit dubious with their reputation, but after driving one I really like it. Turn in is very sharp, and its a very light car which makes it a fun little car smile

Not really got that many plans for it, as its pretty well set up in std trim, though there is a set of HIDs on order, an induction kit, and maybe an exhaust smile

Yeah, got your text, but couldnt reply cos I was driving and kinda forgot to reply sorry

As for the MPG, its doing high 30's to low 40's with mixed driving.

Manifold was a find from the owners club, took a couple of hours to fit - taking it easy on the drive smile

HIDS have been on for aaagggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeeees laugh
