bought some blue led neons that flash and do everything on tuesday off my mate for £50 so got a good deal. just ordered a 15 inch jbl sub, 1000 watt amp.

just fitted all my soundsystem
1 x 15 inch jbl sub
2 x 10 inch jbl subs
1 x crunch 1000watt (1 channel)
1 x splx 1000watt (2 channel)
jvc headunit
jbl 6x9 300watts
pioneer components up front

im off next week so going to fit my neons then

A539 rubber is "yokohama A539" tires. From those pics i can tell thats wot the are as the tread pattern is one of a kind.Ive got yoko's A539s on my front and i love the grip i get from them

i see youve got a good eye there scoop. yeah i love the yoko's aswell, especially when there part worn cause thats when you get most grip from them and theres plenty of grip, the only thing is that they are expensive and iam only a student so ive got to go easy on the tires

When u get new tires go to autosafe as they are cheap as chips,or buy them urself from deemon tweaks or motorworld and pay 10 pound per corner fitting as it works out a tiny bit cheaper

fitted some neons yesterday. only took me about 3 hours with help from my brother and dad. not that hard really. will get some pictures up in the next few days with the neons on at night time

got some carpet for my install yesterday so will fit that soon

decided to fit a sunstrip to the car today as i have had it lying around for months. its just a plain black one but looks quite nice.

Not a big fan of the corsa but yours looks good only ever seen a couple i like some people go overboard on em but you (and john) have them lookingood would get rid of the red stripe me though.

Seen you on thursday at the meet have to get chattin to you nextime.

yeah i seen you at the meet also. personally i like the red stripe cause it brakes the grey up a bit but i would get rid of it if i got a bodykit for it but i dont wont a bodykit for it so kepping the red stripe. next on the list is getting rid of the centre pipe to make it louder

went down to cybox this morning and got my centre pipe taken out. sounds alot louder and nicer. a nice cheap mod. also taken off the neons last week. going to try and fix my central locking tomorrow

whats wrong with your central locking?

when i lock the car with the alarm it should do the central locking and its not doing it. also when i turn the ignition off it will either lock all the doors or open. its weird and its doing my head in.

got two indicator bulbs today as all my lights at the back are white as some of you found out on the way to the rock from the last meet. of course they will be getting fitted during work time tomorrow. just need to get some red bulbs asap. also took my cd player bk to halfords the over day as it was playin up, but they had to send it away to get fixed, hopefully have it back soon cause i hate driven without any music.

lights add a sort of stealth look about your car mate! are they legal though? system looks tastey aswel

yeah the front lights are legal. the back ones arnt as i found that out when it failed its MOT on them. lol. getting some new back lights soon. same type as what i have got now but darker ones.

how much did u pay for the center box 2 be takin out

I think all u need to make ur back lights legal is red bulbs,orange bulbs and a proper red fog light bulb in the cluster. Then u need to place reflectors on ur back bumper underneth the lights. Thats y it failed the MOT,no reflective strip on the rear. Is that a good guess?

i paid £15 to get the centre box to be taken out and that was from cybox. but the fella has sold it to someone else now so he will prob charge you more than that. i agree with you there scoop, i do need to get coloured bulbs but its having the time to go out and get them and fit them. also got some new mods, just waiting for them to come through the post

just fitted my new storm single wiper. will get some pics up soon

just got a new induction kit, its massive, its about twice as big as my old pipercross induction kit, it only just fitted on. lol

took my red bump strips off today, as i guessed the paint work under them was not very good so had to replace them, decided to replace them with some black ones to go with the style iam going for,

both front wiper arms where rusty so got some new ones,

also a interior boot panel that i was missing,

best bit, change the two door cards and the two rear quater panels for some plane black ones, look a lot better

yeah thats one of the ideas, just dont no which idea to go for,

1. stick with the buckets, strip the back out and put a roll cage in

or 2. put the calibra leather seats in and get a half roll cage

bought a new exhuast system last week, got it off ebay for a bargain £60, got it fitted today,

decided to go down to a local scrappy today as a mate told me that he had seen a corsa in there that was modified abit, so went down as he said it had a splitter on the back bumper, only turned out to be an irmscher back bumper, it had the towinf eye missing and the paint was flaking off, but its a different colour to mine anyway, no cracks in it,
asked the fella how much for it and he said £10 if you take it off, i almost fainted as these are so dear to buy brand new

took me and me bro an hour and an half to fit it on the drive in the snow, lol, fits perfect, its nowhere near to axle,

picked up a new exhuast system form a local scrappy,
got a cat, and a magnex 5x3 cat back system for £100.

also last week spotted a gsi front and back bumper on ebay, so emailed the guy offering £100 to end it early, and he said yeah so picked it up the next day, what a bargain, fitted it the other day, hes some quick pics

gsi front bumper resprayed, number plate recess smoothed out and an fk plain grill put in,
irmscher airdam back bumper sprayed and fitted
tops of bumper, arches and skirts sprayed antherite,
colour code door handles,
semi-smooth the boot and maybe make the recess made smaller

sounds amazing mate, the gsi bumper looks very nice and makes ur car look meaner.

That boot is awesome,never seen one like that before,it looks good,thinking about it now i think the reason it looks better than a fully smoothed one is because IMO fully smooth ones are TOO bare.Especially on when the panel is that big.Great work mate.U gonna change the rear bumper,i reckon u shud spray the top half of the bumper a dark colour,instead of the matt black it is now,give it a shine,like ur wheels in ur sig

he put a soilniod so that it pops open buy the press of a switch, but hes wired it up through all the old wires from the back window wiper, so i just press back the lever for the back window wiper and the boot pops open,

the semi smooth boot looks amazing mate, works well with the look your going for

That looks feckin awesome mate, don't do anything to the door strips they suit the look. What you gonna do with the front number plate? Imo you should get a sticky one and offset it on the front bumper..

i think the colour of the arches is perfect, if they would of looked nicer darker then i would of got them darcker, ive just spent alot of money smoothing the front bumper so the plate can stay off the bumper for now

just imagine your numberplate being part of you sunstrip hmmmmmmmm i dnt know what it would luk like tho

Not sure on the legality of having it as the sunstrip,i think its got to be on bonnet or bumper,it looks crap on the dash and i think it'd look pap on the sunstrip

Lawton get yourself a rear disk conversion. they dont cost that much really. do they and you know you want to do it.

people only have discs on the back for looks as the front does 80% of the braking, to do it properly, your looking at about £200

thats pocket money for you. and yes i know its purely for looks. but you have upgraded the fronts so why not the rears. you know its all the car needs to finish it.

still got loads to do,
still havent put the bigger brakes on the front yet

what bigger brakes thought you had calibra 16v brakes. have you gone and got some turbo brakes redrilled to fit.

no, still got standerd ones on, havent got round to putting the calibra ones on yet

for the price why not willwood 4 pot calipers proper silver bling

cause of the price, plus its only a 1.4 and these 2.0 brakes i have got to fit will stop if fine, and they were only £50, the discs and pads have only been used for 50 miles aswell, so they were a bargain

havent had indicators since i put all the bumpers on, so about 6 weeks, wouldnt recomend it to anyone, ive had some near misses going round rounderabouts etc, you cant see the indicators when looking at the car in the flesh

got to say that this is the nicest corsa i have seen ever. tastfully different, no combat kits, silly spoilers. spot on

got to say that this is the nicest corsa i have seen ever. tastfully different, no combat kits, silly spoilers. spot on

Don't really like Corsa's, but that looks very tidy

Woow i like the new air filter very much, sits in very nicely.

The new air filter looks tidy mate, but not quite as beasty lookin as the old one.

Either way though, its whats best for the car init!

its not as big as the last one, but is so much better, i put it on and took it round the block, i use to have a massive flat spot right at the biggining of the rev range,not any more, also seems quicker and my bro said it sounds nicer, when he could hear me a couple of streets away, lol

does look better mate looks alot more purposeful rather than just for looks

the carbon bits look smart but like me with my chrome parts its ****in expensive and then no one gets to see it!

corsa`s are good first cars, try and stay away from the 8v`s, there slow and use alot of petrol, the 1.2 sxi are good and the 1.4 16v sport are good also, i get usually 40mpg out of mine, plus the 1.4 sports are only group 6 so you can insure them easily, if you need any more info about them etc, then let me no

nice little touch to the inside,

got bored of the morettes so put my old smoked headlights back on and fell in love with the front end, it looks so much smoother with them on,

another update,

thought it was pointless having rear seats in with having the cage, so stripped it out, will make a false floor for it and tidy it up when i have time,

also got some new wheels, they are irmscher softstars, which are an add on to vauxhall, (same make as the back bumper)
also seen as they are the perfect offset then i decided to lower the back more,

Does look lower now, but i prefer the old colour wheels,and i prefer it when it had full leather and no cage, but when its got buckets and a tidy floor it'll look nice in an all new way,and it'll be faster

i thought u'd just resprayed ur anthracites? Whats different about these? are they bigger or something? wud u consider doing em anthracite lol

these are made by irmscher who make add on`s for vauxhall so are very good quality, they are the same make as the back bumper i have,
also the old wheels where et45, with et 49 being the perfect offset, so i was very limited to what tyres i could use as iam so low,
these wheels are et49 so could go lower and have alot more choice at what tyres i want to use.

and no i wont be doing them antherite, well not yet anyway, as the colour breaks it up a bit, (just wait till i get bored and they will go back to antherite, lol)

also fitted a rear omp strut brace and also got a fire extinguisher fitted to the roll cage, will get pics when ive cleaned it, lol

went down to paintworx to see russ yesterday after work, and ended up going the paintshop at 4 and was finished at 9.30.

ive had the door strips taken off, both doors resprayed, passenger wing resprayed, some rust taken off the drivers door and door handles sprayed, none off this was planned, was just a spare of the moment thing, lol

pics were taken while is was snowing and its not clean so will get better pics soon

Looking good mate. Looks similar to my old Corsa, but I delocked the doors and left the boot lock on in case of a battery failure. I'd have loved a smooth rear like yours, but I didn't have the bottle! Keep up the good work.

been a while since ive been on the site and updated so,

got rid of the leather seats as ive never been happy with the rear seats and they were starting to look tatty,
so got some cobra buckets seats, sparco harnesses and some standerd late spec corsa rear seats.

also lowered the back a bit more, sitting about 100mm at the back now.

EBC Greenstuff - I tried them twice, and both times ended up overheating them and cracking the disks, though they do seem a little better on smaller, lighter cars....

6 months ago it looked very sorted indeed, but IMHO its just looking a bit OTT now with add on bits

Sorry mate but got to agree with chewy, its far to low at the back, and a few other things, other than that though it looks good, dont listen to chewy too much though, if he had his way with your car, it would be on top of a fire place some where !

yeah was giving it some stick, let say as i was suppose tochange gear i looked at the revs they had jumped to like 8,000 rpm when the limiter is at like 6500rpm and all i heard was a bang and then metal tinging and then cut out and now nothing.
have already started to strip it so it will never be back on the road
