I have just put in a new idle control valve, lambda sensor, air flow metre, coolant temp sensor, distributor/rotor arm and cap.

to do:
It runs 95% perfect now, I can't complain about economy, I have new pulleys and need to put a new cam in before I put it in for a proper tune-up.
I have Calibra V6 front struts/Cavalier V6 rear beam for five stud/big brake conversion, (£80 for both - bargain), but need five stud vaux alloys.
Bumper is getting the 'big mouth' treatment and spongey-mesh.

eventually:
I want to get the roof, door pillars and visors lined in suede or leather, clean up the engine bay (it's 90% caked in gunk), get the cam cover and cambelt cover painted, and replace the header tanks with Bailey aluminium types.

I did all of the work myself, apart from the chip and porting and H8 RED (Hatred) isn't the reg number, just on the wishlist. laugh

Photos were taken in the cemetery near Arrowe Park, great place to do it, quiet, nice scenery and horizon. smile Bit morbid though.

Trying my best 'keeping it standard'. Limits your options it does... frown

keeping it standard??????? i think i know what u mean. It looks incredibly sleeper mate, u cud tell a newbie modder that it "came like that" and they'd believe you but i sure as hell wouldnt, wud u need different struts for that? bein as the way the calibra struts may bolt to the cali hubs in a different way? i think u shud keep the boot smoothed mate, rebadge it with brand new badges tho from the ASTRA 5. And take them lights outta ur bumper. What u think mate?
