Not really the place for wnd ups, i assume this is serious,so ill treat is as so, itll certainly be a first, however i wouldnt know the first thing about modding a reliant.Id say focus mainly on the paint job and interior

Hehe, I saw a modded one once, had what looked like mini cooper alloys, a half roll cage, and steel skid plates on the front corners!

Mod it by doing the 4 wheel mod!!

chevy V8 in the boot wheelie bars MASSIVE DRAG tyres and a bog to sit on cos you would fill it with all that power and no weight raftl

As daft as it sounds it would be such a laugh to mod one.

You will need a fibre glass company if you want a kit making.

I had a Robin Reliant and loved it! Mine was pink smile I'd gladly have one again and mod it to within an inch of its life - but not to the point of Barrying raftl

I had a Reliant Rialto once, like a Robin but the estate version. By just rebuilding the engine you will get more horsepower, mine was good for 110+ and because they are light they are quite quick off the mark. I was considering rallying one but I never got round to it. They are really fun cars especially when driven quick. It's a challenge to keep all 3 wheels on the ground when cornering!

Minimad5 on here has a Reliant Rebel.

This was lifting the fibre glass body off the chassis. Great fun!
MX5 running gear going in!

That'd be good, but he's keeping to budget I think.

Here's some more fibre-glass bodied loveliness:

Wasn't aware that Dave had popped a picture of the Rebel up, it's nothing special BUT >
New plan(s) are no longer MX5 running gear....

Instead a Suzuki Swift 1.3 Engine.

The engine is no longer in ... instead it is in bits and awaiting a gasket set, plus the time to re-assemble it.
