Following the news that Transport for London seeks to ban vehicles
more than 8 years old entering London, the Association of British
Drivers is calling for control of public and private transport to be separated.

The ABD stance is that since the TFL controls the whole system it is
taking away choice and forcing people onto public transport.
It says that this will mean exlusion for the less well off who cannot
afford newer cars and have to make a transport choice that may be
inefficient for their needs

Whats your thoughts?

Dam right cheeky!

When people pass there test 9 times out of 10 they have to buy an old banger as they cant afford much after shelling out for lessons and first time insurance.

Why don't they ban 4x4's coming into london and all the people who drive without insurance.

That would solve more problems

I can see the Human Rights Act kicking in...

Its infringing on my human rights to drive
my banger any where i want.

Wonder if it would effect the London to Brighton Rally ?
