Hope this is the right forum, Does anyone know where I can get dads Fiat Sedici air con recharged ? Village Motors said £60 ? TIA x

I think Kwik fit do a thing where it's like £49 and if the efficiency doesn't improve by either 10 or 15% you don't get charged.

Join Groupon and do a search for Aircon.

Theres a half price offer in Liverpool (Speke) for a Full Aircon service and recharge for £24

Not used him for aircon, but I will do next week if the car gets through the MOT ok!

But used him several times for car repairs with no problems.

Showing my ignorance here. How can you tell if your car has aircon? Have had a second hand SEAT Alhambra for about 10years )no workshop manual) and it has A/C on one of the control buttons. But it has never worked to my knowledge. is there a bit of kit or a re gassing point in the engine compartment that will show me.

It will deffo have air con,,, under the bonnet there are 2 silver pipes on the left hand side with black caps on, these are the service ports there is a compressor that runs off the belts and a condenser this is the radiator at the front plus more pipes and an evaporator under the dashboard

cheers. I noticed the black cap things but just thought they might have been valves for bleeding air out. Might just try a trip to a regasser and see what they can do.
