Saw an advert for Carcraft last night and they are advertising Lexus IS200's for £199 Deposit and £199 / month.

Is this car set to be the new BMW 318i?!?!?

How have they got so cheap. Like the BMW used to be when new, I thought the Lexus was a bit more exclusive confused

Soooo, watch out for silly big exhaust, Bonnet neons, and, erm, Lexus lights  raftl

I really like the look of these cars but the are soooo expensive.

I would never mod one as they are so nice as standard. I might see if they done a "normal light" mod

Thats the point, £199 / per month!!!! Thats way cheaper than I expected.

OK, you may be paying it over mortgage terms, but how many people are gonna be tempted so they can own an IS?

...Plus, the new model is now out and older fleet models are returning to lease companys, so their value is dropping very quickly.

£199 per month.

is probabley more like a 25year mortgage.

yes only 300 month of £199 and then its yours.
As you push it into the Car Museum,
+ side your no longer paying tax?
& Its listed as a classic car now frown

it could be 50p a month, fact remains, the likes of car craft rip you off big style, pay 8k on a 5k car,and prob over 16k on a 10k car.i can see some young lads gettin hold of em tho and takin the exclusivity away.Im after a BM soon, E36 32 something, maybe a 320 or possible 323

It will be 199 depostit, 199 for 60 months and a optional final depost of about 8000, much prefer bmw build quality.

They have a huge warehouse full of cars they don't own, it's owned by a big group who sell them to CC. Most are repossessed vehicles. I know for sure when the police or the council repossess a vehicle it'll go straight into Carcraft's warehouse.

They also have a huge amount of small print, and if you miss a payment, god help you. Avoid like a really nasty plague.
Hopefully they'll go the same way as Yes car credit, who used to send me a letter ever fortnight reminding me of how shit they were. YCC were a proper 1000 complaint letters to trading standards every week jobby.

I like those Lexus' though, hope they don't become chav-i-fied.
