Will get pics soon, but at the mo the only mod I've done is fit 2 Kenwood 6*9's in the parcel shelf. This due to me only owning the car for just over a month. Loads in the pipeline tho

Coming Up:
PSG Wide Arch (only gtting the arches) plus Jap style front, rear & side skirts (still looking at designs)

set of 17's (still havnt decided on which ones yet, looking at Wolfrace though)

Kenwood CD Headunit (being fitted this weekend)
Amp, Sub, etc

Neons & interior, going for a green glow, to be different from most people going for blue, altho when I get my re-spray I'll probably change to blue lol

Re-Spray - SECRET! tease had a quote 4 paint = around the £1,500 mark eek oh well, it'll be well worth it

gonna be lowered 30mil

Engine mods will be done after the bodywork is finished

Hopefully have the bodywork & paint sorted by Xmas all goin to plan laugh

I know Adam's car, its nice n smooth, but I'm lookin for a wide Jap style for mine

Paintworks is penned in, just need to contact HOUSE OF KOLOR to order it.

Still browsing different jap kits, got me wide arches sorted, they're coming from PSG (same company who did DazVTR's Saxo)

I'm concentrating on getting my ICE sorted first along with some alloys, then getting the kit and paint sorted

Hopefully, all going to plan, it'll be ready for show stands by xmas laugh

I asked for the windows to be "shopped" mullen

besides, the rear window will be getting changed soon anyways
Posted By: jimbo4x4 Re: Meesh's Fiesta - 29th Jul 2004 8:31pm
That's a tidy fezza, good car for a project. Make sure you keep us up to date on the mods mate smile
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Meesh's Fiesta - 30th Jul 2004 8:38am
is that the mk3 or the mk3.5?

i thought it was a mk3 till i seen the ford badge on the boot, looks like a mk3.5 as its got the smaller ford badge on the boot which they started doing from the mk3.5 onwards (i think anyway )

looks tidy, main worry for fiesta's is rust, so as long as you aint got any on there then you've got a great base to start from cool
Posted By: Meesh Re: Meesh's Fiesta - 30th Jul 2004 1:54pm
theres a couple of small spots

one on the rear drivers side wheel arch and a couple of small scratches on the front bottom part of the bumper

part from that, its spot on laugh

Gettin it de-badged next weeked (apart from the front cos it'll leave 2 big holes frown )

Also on the way is a Bad Boy Bonnet

Jimbo, yer I'll keep ya's up to date as things get done, already said to Webmaster I'll send the pics over to him as the work goes on laugh

Adam, as far as I know its the MK3. Thats whats on all the documents anyways
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Meesh's Fiesta - 31st Jul 2004 9:42am
i left the rust in my arches and it got quite big so i'd advise getting that sorted asap, have done mine now and put some rear arches on it and blended them in, just need them spraying properly.

de-badging certanly improves the looks on the rear an is one of the easiest mod's to do to, makes the back end look less dated as the fiesta badges dont look very upto date with the letter styling.

who's doing the badboy? cool
Posted By: Meesh Re: Meesh's Fiesta - 31st Jul 2004 10:04am
a mate of mine's brother, only problem is he lives down South, so gonna be gettin it when he next comes up...and I have no idea when that'll be frown

Posted By: Anonymous Re: Meesh's Fiesta - 31st Jul 2004 10:10am
ahh thats alright for a tenner then isn't it. what colour is it? i take it your takin it to a bodyshop to be sprayed?
Posted By: Meesh Re: Meesh's Fiesta - 31st Jul 2004 10:33am
yup, think its gonna be comin black, so it wont look too bad, mite just leave it till i get the full re-spray after the kits been chosen, bought & fitted laugh

was meant to be gettin the de-badging done this weekend, but the lad who was gonna do it has gone the Ford Fair frown
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Meesh's Fiesta - 31st Jul 2004 6:29pm
do it yourself!

all you need is a kettle of boiling hot water, and a flathead screw driver with a cloth wrapped round the end so you dont scratch the paint or burn your fingers.

poor the boiling hot water over the top of the badges (to heat up the glue holding them on) you may need to poor a couple of kettles full over them, use the screw driver with cloth round the end to start pulling the badges off so you dont burn your fingers and pour the boiling waster down the back to, keep doing this till they come off.

once you done that use a BIT of white spirit to get the left over glue and gunk off, wash the area thuroughly, then polish, then stand back and admire your handy work. piece of cake cool
Posted By: Meesh Re: Meesh's Fiesta - 31st Jul 2004 6:59pm
me mate who's doin it can get hold of a heat gun.

and given my track record of DIY jobs, i'd prefer he did it

You should look at making the wiring for the LED lights on your dash board invisable, i tucked mine down gaps in the dash board in the AX, and, looking at pics of your car, it looks possible to do it.

Make the thing look a bit tidier.

When i debadged the AX, need to polish/T-Cut the area loads otherwise sometimes you can see where the badge has been
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Meesh's Fiesta - 26th Aug 2004 1:47pm
is the air freshener your latest mod dude?
Posted By: Meesh Re: Meesh's Fiesta - 26th Aug 2004 5:54pm

Rob (ax) polished all the area where the badges and bump strips had been, cant notice they've eva been there, spesh now the me cars covered in poo poo from a lil stint of rallyin
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Meesh's Fiesta - 29th Aug 2004 5:03pm
debadged? is that what u call it when u have no badge on ya car, so people have to guess if u are gonna burn them off at the lights or not?? Mines been debadged(no ref to the 316 or3.2stuff)as u put it, keeps em guessin!!

Posted By: Meesh Re: Meesh's Fiesta - 30th Aug 2004 3:35pm
yer, thats what its called when ya remove the badges from the back, aint done the front one yet, got nothin to cover the hole it'll leave frown

some people de-badge their cars so people dnuno what engine size it is, so they get a surprise at the lights lol

But I've done mine cos I think it looks smoother and nicer
Posted By: Whitterz Re: Meesh's Fiesta - 30th Aug 2004 4:02pm
yup does look smoother smile
