Trying to help a very elderly friend with something that requires ID from a group of options . Having just moved house, the only one he might have is the Blue Badge id card which although he doesnt drive ,means his driver can park in disability space. Is this the same thing as 'Disabled drivers pass' mentioned below, or is there something different again for just drivers? Thanks

.

Current UK or EU passport with photo (certified copy)
Current UK or EU driving licence with photo (full or provisional) (certified copy)
Most Recent Notification from the Department for Work and Pensions confirming rights to benefits or state pension (or benefit book)
HMRC tax notification (tax assessment, statement of account or notice of coding NOT P45 or P60)
Shotgun licence or Firearms certificate
Northern Ireland Voter's Card
Blue Disabled Driver's Pass
UK birth certificate (only to be used for people under the age of 18) (no photograph)

Hi Venice,

I am sure that as this disabled pass should have his photo on it and as it has been verified by the council it should be ok.

There was a discussion I read about two years ago to include the blue badge as id. once it is the new version which has the photo printed directly onto the badge.
