Don't know about the wirral but there's definitely a sign for one on the way into chester. I'll try and grab the number tomorrow. What's actually up with it? Depending on the vehicle it may work out cheaper to just get a new turbo. Pm me the reg and I'll see how much I can get one for for you.

Marine turbos by woodside have done one or two for me, what's it for?

I think I know the place Turnip is talking about, you see a sign for "TURBO REPAIRS" on the Welsh Road from Two Mills to Queensferry.

I'm pretty sure its pointing to this place:

http://www.turboclinic.co.uk/

http://carclinicledsham.com/

If your car is a Peugeot, particularly with the 110bhp 1.6 engine then a replacement turbo will be ruined in a matter of months.

Thats the one I was thinking about Gibbo, turbo clinic only do them on an exchange basis and will not touch them whilst there on the car,He did tell me not to touch the cheap copies from China as they don't last.

I phoned him for a price on a Garret turbo for a Merc sprinter and he said would be as little as £100 upto £300 but I know them and am sure they would of done a first class job.

The turbo has started smoking and its using oil quicker. Havent checked the breather pipes yet but I doubt that will be the problem. Its a C20LET (Vauxhall) engine with a hybrid kkk16 turbo

There's rebuild kits on eBay if you can do it yourself, much cheaper option if your willing to have a go.

Would love to have the confidence and knowledge to be able to do that but its just not an option for me unless someone on here knows what they are doing with turbos and I will pay them??
