Hi, please tell me where I can buy CO2 bottles for my welder. I don't want the little throwaway ones but the "Distillers" size brewery ones. Mine are about 2ft high or three foot high.
I used to buy them from a nice guy called Tommy, who delivered to the house but I have lost his phone number.

Ive had pub bottles in the past from a guy called Tommy i think, he works for a gas co but does bottles for welding on the side. £25 last time i had one. 07970673090

If the details are wrong, i found him by calling a couple of local places and they gave me his name.

seriously?? you get something from someone you say 'does it on the side' and then stick the guys phone number up on a public forum smack

I suspect you are mis-interpreting the phrase "on the side". It is a job on the side, ie not his main job, not in any way illegal.

Re adaptors. The "j" bottle you gave me had what is now used for CO2/Argon mixes. I have bought the adaptor and all is fine. The gauge confirms that it is full. It will probably see me out!
Thanks again.
