Berlingo Multispace Car 1.9D Diesel approx 130,000 miles. Found globules oil in radiator water and a black mush on radiator cap.Was ok couple of weeks back when i topped up. Car still starts and runs fine and not overheating or smoking from exhaust. Still oil in the engine. Bottom pulley bearing on fan belt been squealing since a fan belt replacement fitted 6 months back.
is this likely just to be a blown head gasket or cracked block?
Need vehicle for short journeys am i going to cause further damage till i can get it garaged. Near heswall ? cheers

I doubt it will be cracked block. Best bet would be to flush the radiator out with some rad flush or even some non bio washing powder poured into the bottle with warm water. Then see if it comes back. If your engine has an oil cooler it could be that starting to go as that is common fault.
