How much will cost roughly to adjust the timing on my 1.9 dci renault laguna and can you recommend anywhere.

Thanks

do you mean the pump timing? as far as i know it's not timed on them.

or are you thinking the belt has jumped?

off the top of my head it's 3-4 hours for belt and water pump etc.

The turbo went, got it replaced, everything was cleaned through, and now it vibrates like mad on idle. A guess is that it's jumped.

how is it when it's off idle/driving?

Runs fine. Turbo is great, no smoke out of exhaust and doesnt vibrate. but when its idle, it vibrates like mad through pedals and steering. Was fine when turbo went though

diesels dont have timing as such as they are compression ignition - not spark ignition - I would say thay you hav esoe other issue

it's easy enough to check that nothing has jumped on it. can have a quick look for you if you want? no charge.
