how cool is this
Boss' new demo truck by The Equalizer Team (headed by Jim Pallai) was definitely a show stopper. The amazing install is housed in a 1989 Moore & Son Armored Truck and has enough power in it to shake down a house (actually, that may be possible! : ) . The speakers for this system included 60 Boss American 15" subwoofers housed in a free-air metal enclosure, 8 Boss 8" mid-bass woofers, 8 Boss 6.5" mid-bass woofers, 16 Boss Cannon 5" midrange and finally 16 Boss Tw20 soft dome tweeters, to arm the truck with 108 Boss speakers! In the back end of the rear-door has over 130 Bosses AVA 750 Amplifiers mounted in a rack along each side of trucks walls to create a total of 120,000 watts of raw power. You would probably think, "how does the truck have enough battery power and alternator power to run this massive amount of power?" But Boss has covered this aspect of this ride, they installed a 250 amp Ohio Generator Alternator and loaded the truck with, get this... 1266 Farads of Flux Capacitor. This truck could possibly be "the most powerful car stereo ever made" (Carl Schmidt - co-owner of the Equalizer) . To add the finishing touches the crew added neon to the inside as well as a custom paint job and gold interior trim on the panels. This was definitely a sight to see, the truck sounded like a Mack truck as it came into the lot for SPL testing; it hit 153.7 dB.
