I have got about £100 to spend on a new pair of 6x9's. I want good quality powerful speakers, and if needs be I would go over that budget a bit, Can anyone help or suggest anything???
go to halfords matey ! they had some half price offers on ! i reckon thats ur best bet !

Im with pingu, dont get 6x9s, they are jack of all trades,master of none speakers. Go for components. 100 pound can get u a lovely set of alpine components.Ur sub can supply ur bass and at least with components u can mount the tweeters in ur C pillar to actually point the treble at the passengers ears
just been to halfords, and after a good long chat about sound and speakers with dazza, we both fell in love with some kenwoods, so I have got kenwood 6x9's and kenwood 17cm speakers, both of the same design, keeping with the kenwood due to having kenwood head unit and door speakers.
And for £120, not bad!!!
