Got hold of a JVC head unit which apparently will support a "cd changer"

I have a pioneeer CD changer in the car already, should this be a seemless switch over from the old head unit or will it need a JVC CD changer?

it will need a jvc changer, simply because of the way the two item communicate between each other and the cables are diffferent with different plugs on each end

bugger, ok cheers, no way i can get some sort of convertor for this?

Not as far as I am aware matey, most manufactors use there own cables/connectors - Old sony units use the same as Clarion but thats about it i think.

Its to make people buy the changer off them

as dazza has said, look on ebey matey for second hand cd changer units, because new i know they cost up wards of about £150

Think i will be sticking to my Tape Deck for now unless i find someone interested in a swop
