Just got my renewal, its gone up from £45.00 per month to £78, the only thing that has changed is i have an extra year on no claims.

Can any one recommend any cheap insurance companys please.

I have tried go compare etc etc and am getting silly prices

Try E-insure, its an online company.

Got my home insurance last month from Direct Line and it had gone up so I went on Go Compare and Money Supermatket. Then I went on line to Direct Line and got a quote of over £100 less than my renewal quote.I rang them and they said to apply on line and get the cheaper price.Their story is that on line I was getting an introductory discount.Just an idea for you to try. Sharks the lot of them. LV are always the cheapest for my car insurance.

Yep, but includes sports/performance.

Covers all my cars, the Astra gsi was £2250 on its own and the Saab was around £1900 iirc.

mine's a touch over a grand, not many excluded cars on the list either.

with tradex through broadsure direct if you want to give them a try when you get your renewal through.

Cheers I will look into that, in due for renewal just before Christmas.

Wow where are all these costs coming from?

Is this with clean license and some no claims?

Are you all 18 years old?

It's true that insurance is rising due to 'whiplash' and I do believe we are still suffering from the 'cold snap' we had with all the snow etc.

But wow, £1,000+ on a Focus?

Where do they get off?

usually the way.

most of the time its more beneficial and cheaper to go fully comp rather the 3rd party options. seems to show that you care for the vehicle or something

but you're right, the difference in those prices is unreal

That's as much as I pay for a much higher risk vehicle.

How old?

Maybe it's a dodgy postcode?
