I need to hire a van for Friday night to Sunday morning, does anyone know the best/cheapest place to do this? Only needs to be smaller than a Transit (as in, not the size of a Transit).

They rent them out on a 24hr basis, so if you pick it up Friday night and you return it Sun morning you will pay for 2 full days, you would be better picking it up On the Friday morning and return Sunday, as you will be paying 2 full days, so why not have it 2 full days.
It does not matter what time you collect the van, it needs to be back at 8:30am.

If you collecy it say on a monday night at 6pm, and want it for a day, and pay for a day, that day ends for you the tuesday morning at 8:30am, thats the way they work.

I only know the price of a transit, which is £55 per day, + £10 deposit, which you get back in cash, when van is returned.

You must pay for van by credit or debit card, and it must be in the name of the driver.

Do you mind me asking what it is you have to move. As I may be able to offer a much cheaper way, I like saving people money.

I have to go down to London to move some stuff from a house into another one! I'll deffo be leaving Saturday morning, and returning Sunday morning.

Make sure you get unlimited mileage if you are doing that round trip.

Birkenhead Van Hire are unlimited mileage anyway.

Had a few vans off them over over the years, never any great issues.
