Just put a set of alloys on my golf ,and the steering has started shaking when going over 60. would this be the balancing on the wheels that cause this. As this didnt happen when i had standard wheels on.and sometimes the brakes shudder even tho there fairly new all around.

What would be the cost to get these balanced?

almost certainly down to wheel balance are wheels and tyres new or second hand .
most places will balance wheels quite cheaply
