Buying an LPG converted Toyota, cracking vehicle at the right price, I have a sneaking suspicion that it may have suffered from Valve recession and have factored this into the purchase price. Hopefully I am wrong with the diagnosis and it may just need a recalibration of the LPG.

Can anyone recommend an engineering company who reconditions Cylinder Heads, in case I am right.

Muchas Gracias in advance

Could get the LPG system checked before stripping the head off, try the LPG guy on kelvin road wallasey, he's in the units at the bottom ( 4 bridges end)..

Thanks for replies, think the gasman is on holiday at the moment, but will be popping in, its a BRC system so hopefully hes got the software to sort it out. Its a Landcruiser with a 3.4 petrol in it, got two heads, fingers crossed.

Picking up from Westport Cumbria on Monday, its a long drive back at 20mpg!
