You buy the oil and filter, i will do it for you, and i will dispose of old oil.

mmy mate paid £270 for an oil change by BMW for his 3.0 z4.
Didnt even need a service but he wanted the oil/filter changing anyway cos he'd just bought it. Mental. How the fook can they justify that cost.

How old is the car - does it justify a dealer stamp?

Go to a Ford dealer and ask for one of their £99 Value services' or £129 service/MOT, you get your oil/filter changed, book stamped and VHC report.(VHC=Visual Health Check)

Is it really worth getting booked stamped for just a oil change.

I know which i would rather pay, £99+ or £10 for someone to do it, hmmm let me think think

I think it`s because it`s a nice BMW mate he doesn`t want it to lose value due to not stamping the book with BMW main dealer, but what he should do is get you to do the job and buy a stamp wink

2005 is well out of warranty now - save your cash and get a local garage to do it and stamp the book.

Its still a FSH, and not like its specialist work - changing the oil.

If its one of the big diesels though, be aware they hold a lot of oil. My 530d takes about 7 litres!!!

Mines a 2005 but I still have warranty.
