Are there any garages that can test intercoolers for airleaks and are cheap ?

2 things what car / van is it and is there a load of black oil around the intercooler also have you got a hiss

Its ok now been to see Chris Gilly intercoolers holding boost so its not that thats causing problem.
Its a mondeo diesel I'm getting black smoke when the turbo kicks in either stationary or under load first port of call was a split intercooler hose but its not that got a few more things to try but suggestions would help if anyone has had similar thanks.

what engine in it ?

there is a plastic turbo pipe by the sump that cracks

Look for oil splat's around the pipe areas

2 ltr tdci where abouts by the sump is the plastic pipe?

it goes in-between the sump and gear box i think on this model

be easyer if i had a look

get a pressure/smoke test done on it, will show anything up.
if you can't find anyone to do it give me a shout and i can give you a number of someone who comes out and does them, nice and cheap
