Have a load of engine blocks and general metal rammel lying round that needs shut of. Does anyone know the price/tonne at the moment, and where's the best place to shift it (and where is open on a Saturday)?

Got rid of a load of scrap lead offcuts there a few weeks ago. Good service.

Do you think they would take copper wire on the reel? I have a couple of dozen part-used reels I want rid of.

Mike I scrapped a load of alloy wheels there last year and he didn't like the fact that I left the valves on them still as your supposed to remove both tyre and valve. He did take them but gave less cash.

Cheers Ste. Called in yesterday and spoke to himself. He said he would take the wire at 1.50/kg (£1500/tonne).
